The high-performance silicon-gate CMOS MC74HC125A and MC74HC126A have the same pin-out as the LS125 and LS126. The device inputs are compatible with standard CMOS outputs; pull-up resistors are included for compatibility with LSTTL outputs. The HC125A and HC126A non-inverting buffers are suitable for use in 3-state memory address drivers, clock drivers, and other bus-oriented systems. These devices have four separate output enables that are active low (HC125A) or active high (HC126A).

The MM74HCT74 uses an advanced silicon-gate CMOS process and operates at speeds similar to LS-TTL parts. It has high noise immunity and low power consumption of a standard CMOS integrated circuit and can drive 10 LS-TTL loads. This flip-flop has independent data, preset, clear and clock inputs, and Q and Q# outputs. During the forward transition of the clock pulse, the logic level at the data input is transferred to the output. The preset and clear inputs are clock independent and are accomplished with a low on the appropriate input. The 74HCT logic family is functionally and pin-out compatible with the standard 74LS logic family. All inputs are protected from electrostatic discharge damage by clamping internal diodes to VCC and ground. The MM74HCT device is suitable for interfacing between TTL and NMOS components and standard CMOS devices. These parts are also plug-in replacements for LS-TTL devices and can be used to reduce power consumption in existing designs.

The MC74VHC1GT50 is a single-gate non-inverting buffer fabricated using a silicon-gate CMOS process. It achieves high-speed operation while maintaining low power consumption of CMOS. This internal circuit consists of three stages, including a buffered output that provides high noise immunity and stable output. The device input is compatible with low input thresholds and the output has a full CMOS level output swing. Input protection circuitry on the device withstands overvoltages on the inputs, thus allowing the device to be used as a logic level translator from 1.65 V logic to 5.5 V CMOS. The MC74VHC1GT50 input structure provides protection for input voltages up to 5.5V regardless of supply voltage. The output structure also provides protection when VCC = 0V. These input and output structures help prevent device damage due to supply voltage - input/output voltage mismatch, battery backup, hot insertion, etc.
