The MC74LCX374 is a high performance, non-inverting octal D-type flip-flop that operates from a 2.3 to 3.6V supply. High-impedance TTL-compatible inputs significantly reduce input driver current loading, while TTL-compatible outputs improve switching noise performance. VI specification of 5.5V, so the MC74LCX374 inputs can be safely driven by 5V devices. The MC74LCX374 consists of 8 edge-triggered flip-flops with their own D-type inputs and 3-state real outputs. Buffered Clock and Buffered Output Enable (OEbar) are common to all flip-flops. Eight flip-flops will store the state of each D input to meet setup requirements and hold low-to-high clock (CP) transition time requirements. When OEbar is low, the output provides the contents of eight flip-flops. When OEbar is high, the output enters a high-impedance state. The OEbar input level does not affect the operation of the flip-flop.
