Description
The NCP1093 and NCP1094 belong to ON Semiconductor's family of high power HIPO Power over Ethernet devices (PoE-PD) that integrate an IEEE802.3at PoE-PD interface controller. Both signals combine required functions such as detection, classification, undervoltage lockout, inrush and run current limit. For Type I and Type II operation, pull power good and NCLASS_AT signals are added to ensure proper control of the DC-DC converter. In addition, the NCP1093 provides a programmable undervoltage lockout, and the NCP1094 provides an auxiliary pin for applications that support auxiliary power. Manufactured using a robust high-voltage process, the NCP1093 and NCP1094 integrate a rugged vertical N-channel DMOS for the most demanding environments, able to withstand harsh environments such as hot-swap and line ESD events. The NCP1093 and NCP1094 complement ON Semiconductor's ASSP lineup in industrial equipment and can be combined with stepper motor drivers, CAN bus drivers and other high voltage interface devices to provide a complete solution for the industrial and security markets.
