The AD633 is a full-featured, four-quadrant analog multiplier that includes high-impedance differential X and Y inputs and a high-impedance summing input (Z). The low impedance output voltage is 10 V nominal full scale and is provided by an embedded Zener diode.The AD633 is the first product to offer these features in an affordable 8-pin PDIP and SOICencapsulation . AD633 is laser calibrated to ensure total accuracy of 2% of full scale. Over a 10 Hz to 10 kHz bandwidth, the Y-input nonlinearity is less than 0.1% typical, and the noise at the output is less than 100 μV rms typical.With a 1 MHz bandwidth and 20 V/μs slew rate, and the ability to drive capacitive loads, the AD633 is suitable for a wide range of applications where simplicity and cost are important. The simplicity of the . . AD633 does not detract from its versatility. Users can access the output buffer amplifier via the Z input, allowing them to sum the outputs of two or more multipliers, increase multiplier gain, convert output voltage to current, and configure a variety of applications. The AD633 is available in both 8-pin PDIP and SOIC encapsulations and is rated for operation over the 0°C to 70°C commercial temperature range for the J-stage and the ?40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range for the A-stage.
