The MC10EL/100EL52 is a differential data, differential clock D-type flip-flop with reset. This device is functionally identical to the E452 device, but with higher performance. The propagation delay and output transition time of the EL52 are significantly faster than the E452, making it ideal for applications requiring ultimate AC performance. When the clock is low, data enters the master portion of the flip-flop and is passed to the slave portion to output when the clock is transitioning. The EL52's differential clock input allows the device to be used as a negative-edge flip-flop. The EL52 employs an input clamping circuit to keep the output of the device stable under open input conditions (pull down to VEE). The 100 series includes temperature compensation.
