The MC10/100EL57 is a fully differential 4:1 multiplexer. The device can also be used as a differential 2:1 multiplexer by leaving the SEL1 line open (pull down through the input pull-down resistor), with the SEL0 input selectable between D0 and D1. SEL1 is the most important selection line. A binary digit applied to a select input will select the same numbered data input (ie 00 selects D0). Provides multiple VBB outputs for single-ended or AC-coupled interfaces. Only the VBB pin, the internally generated supply voltage, is provided for this device. In the case of single-ended inputs, tie the unused differential input to VBB as the switch reference voltage. VBB can also re-bias the AC-coupled input. When used, decouple VBB and VCC through a 0.01 μF capacitor and limit current source or sink to 0.5 mA. VBB should be left open when not in use. The 100 Series includes temperature compensation.
