The NCN5150 is a single-chip integrated slave transceiver for two-wire instrumentation bus (M-BUS) slaves and relays. The transceiver provides all the functions required to meet the European standards EN 13757-2 and EN 1434-3 which specify the M-BUS physical layer requirements. It includes programmable power levels up to 2 (SOIC version) or 6 (NQFP version) unit loads and can be used for external circuits through a 3.3V LDO regulator. The NCN5150 provides communication at M-BUS communication speeds up to 38400 baud rate (half-duplex).
