The FSA5157 is a low on-resistance, low-power, single-pole double-throw (SPDT) analog switch. This product is suitable for switching audio signals in applications such as cellular phones and portable media players. This product has an ultra-low impedance of 0.4Ω, a current consumption of less than 1µA, and an operating voltage range of 1.65V to 4.3V, making it suitable for battery-powered applications. The FSA5157 also features bidirectional operation and break-before-make capabilities. The device is fully qualified to operate at 1.8V, 2.5V and 3.3V. More and more applications require that the voltage applied to the select input be lower than the VCC application voltage. In this case, most switches typically draw more than 100µA. This is unacceptable for battery powered applications. The FSA5157 is designed to minimize current consumption in this case. ICCT is specified at <12µA for worst case VCC = 4.3 v and VIN = 1.8 v.
